    Mimobot Gears Up For Halloween

We’ve seen all sorts of Mimobots in the past, and this time round we have a Halloween exclusive – the rayD8gig. This inversely-colored skeleton features a glow-in-the-dark base and will come in a similar size just like all other Mimobot USB flash drives. What makes this slightly different is the ability to customize sound effects played whenever you mount or remove the drive. As you can tell by its name, the rayD8gig will be available in only 8GB capacity, and they will retail for $99.95 each – much higher than what you’d pay for on the regular USB flash drive market but justified as only 200 will be produced.

    Tamiya Robocraft Boxing Robots

Tamiya has brought the classic Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots toy to the 21st century with its Robocraft boxing robots. What makes this different is you will need to build the robot yourself, but that doesn’t mean it is any less fun. A wired remote (why not wireless?) is required to operate each robot, and you can alternate between an uppercut or a straight jab to knock your opponent off his feet. Guess this is the poor man’s toy if one cannot afford Wii Sports for a more realistic boxing experience.

    Husqvarna Releases Automower Lawnmower Robot

Nice to see Husqvarna roll out their latest automower lawnmower robot that is smart enough to mow your lawn by itself, and should it start to run out of juice, it is able to charge itself thanks to the solar panels installed on top of it. You can choose to program it to mow your lawn just as often as you like, regardless of what the weather is like outside. Of course, you will definitely need a lawn to begin with so those living in apartments can give this a miss.

MSI’s Eclipse Series of motherboards will come with the industry’s exclusive second-generation DrMOS power supply design, helping maximize performance while enjoying a stable and adequate power supply. With the 2nd generation DrMOS, MSI has swallowed the recommendation by Intel to turn this into the most suitable solution for the processor’s power supply. Not only that, the MSI Eclipse Series motherboard also works with the industry’s sole hardware Active Phase Switching technology for energy-saving purposes, offering extremely stable power supply capacity that helps enhance the bandwidth of the new platform. There is no word on pricing as at press time though.

    iBone For Your Pooch

You might be rocking to an iPhone, but what about your pooch? Why not let him/her stay on the same technological track as its owner with the iBone? This plush toy looks similar to the iPhone in design, but is a whole lot softer to chew on. Some of the applications available include hilarious options like updating a Petspace page profile and calling that hot pooch next door. Would you fork out $14 for this pointless toy? I suppose this is meant for folks who love dressing up their dogs to the nines…
