Even simple things like mouse and keyboards are having new designs, 3D models and who knows what. The price ranges from about 20 bucks apiece over to about 600 bucks, with increased functionality.

Would you think that there would be a mouse out there, which would have its own LCD screen? Well there is one, by 3Dconnexion. The mouse’s name is SpacePilot Pro, and it has a LCD screen, lots and lots of buttons, ranging from buttons for various isometric views to navigation settings. If even that wasn’t enough, there are more buttons for various applications, including an applet for checking out your mail on MS Outlook.

However, it has drivers for Windows XP and Vista, Solaris 8 and 10, and Linux. This mouse is available in the market now, for a price of $499. You might think it’s a bit high, but you should look at what it has to offer. Following are some features of 3Dconnexion’s Space Pilot pro which will determine it’s worth and abilities:

The Kindle 2 device from Amazon, which was first launched in late February of this year, is roughly selling at almost double rates then the first generation device launched on by the same company. This news was sent on by a source close to the Amazon itself, and therefore cannot be neglected. On an approximate level, about 300,000 of the devices have been shipped already, and this gives us an important reason to believe that Amazon has already generated revenue of $100 million from the device, which is $359 a piece.

The predecessor of Kindle 2 sold about 400,000 devices, and Amazon plans on this figure being double for Kindle 2 in the year 2009 alone.

So what is actually this hot selling device? Well if you are in for reading books, you will be thrilled. Let me give you an overview of what the device actually is, and what it does.

Introduction:

Amazon’s Kindle 2 is actually a mobile eBook reader. It was first made available to the general public on February 9, 2009. This device is actually an update to the previous Amazon Kindle with some additional features. Following are some of its major and important features:

· This device also has a high resolution display technology known as electronic paper, in which the display is black and white, and really crystal clear and crisp. This crystal clear display assures you that the reading format will be clear and easily readable.

Keeping in mind all the new tweaking that Amazon did to its portable book reader, there is simply no wonder as to which Amazon is making so much sales and profits from the sale of the device. Kindle 2 is really more technologically advanced, making it a far better choice then its predecessor, so it is really an irresistible device for any one who is familiar with kindle device.

Everyone is aware of the Bluetooth technology which totally changed the era of modern wireless communication few years back. With the advent of this technology, the cell phone users didn’t have to stick around with each other for their multimedia files to transfer through the slow and low range medium of Infra-Red. Now people had a range of 1 meter or more, to transfer their files among each other, and therefore stay connected.

The advent of Bluetooth technology was with Bluetooth version 1.2 which had a slow transfer speed. Then, the technology advanced on with the advent of Bluetooth version 2.0, which had better transfer speeds and higher ranges then its predecessor. Bluetooth 2.0 has really reined the inter-cell phone multimedia communication, until recently.

The Bluetooth communications is planning a major breakthrough in Bluetooth technology with the integration of 802.11 technologies into Bluetooth, and upgrading it to version 3.0; with this advancement the users will have the privilege to transfer their multimedia content with blazing fast speeds of 802.11 wireless technologies, over their Bluetooth protocol. This does not mean that they have to transfer their connection onto a Wi-Fi connection; all they have to do is turn on their Bluetooth connection, and start transferring files onto another handset with the Bluetooth version 3.0 supports. The Bluetooth protocols would start communicating between each other at the blazing fast speeds of 802.11 wireless networks. They can now transfer huge multimedia content amongst their phones, without having to worry about the long hours the process is going to take, as with the 802.11 technology the files will be transferred at bolstering fast speeds. As soon as they are done transferring the file, their Bluetooth connection would switch back to earlier Bluetooth version protocol with the transfer speed of 3 MB per second, utilizing the same low battery power like before.

This advancement is supposed to be released in the general public on April 21st, 2009. Once the new standard is announced by Bluetooth SIG, it won’t be long before we start seeing Bluetooth version 3.0 enabled handsets in the market, and people transferring movies through their cell phones like they were just transferring some mp3 songs or wallpapers.

Some brands of phones do show concern over this technology though, as their batteries are not so heavily equipped to have an 802.11 connection go through them and still provide the user with the whole day of battery backup. This condition is being worked on, and hopefully will be resolved by the time this technology actually hits the market in the form of handsets.

This year, following the success of Sidekick last year, that carrier is again bringing in the same brand name, but it is totally changing up on the hardware.

Any one of the Sidekick users by Motorola or Sharp is really in shock with the advent of this one in the market. They agree that this is by far the best Sidekick ever made, and it actually does look like semi-professional and very aspiring at the same time. It would be safe to say that every other sidekick looks like a toy in front of this one, when compared to design, materials and build quality of the whole product.

The timing of T-Mobile on this one was just perfect, because the new Twitter just came out, and T-Mobile launched a device with the full fledge twitter integration in it, because most of the users out there were searching for something with a little bit of twitter support in it too. Also, the Microsoft Live search and the GPS monitoring abilities of this device is completely outstanding, and therefore an ideal choice for many. The phone could be physically large for some, but you can’t say it’s impractical because of the amount of features included in it. Its display is really crystal clear and crisp, and it is better then any handset that have been used in the United States yet. The graphics are so perfect, that you can actually distinguish every visible pixel on there, and this really enables the user to get the most out of its Sidekick.

This is a major breakthrough for the trend setters of handsets that have been out in the market, and now one can be sure that more intriguing stuff is coming your way very shortly.

This sensational mobile phone from Apple called iPhone attracted millions of buyers from around the world. Now it tried to do something different by bringing a Apple iPhone 3G which is made of 18 carat pure gold and which is encrusted with diamonds on it. Can you imagine such a device in your hands? And yes it has already laid claim to be the world’s most expensive phones to be ever made.

Diamonds are the way ahead now as we saw last time when 18 Carat Gold Shuffle was followed by the diamond version. Then the news of 24 carat iPhone was making rounds. This classic version is with 420 diamonds weighing 5.65 carats with yellow gold, sapphires embedded on it.

And for this marvel of iPhone one needs to lose the strings of his purse by about 1.6 million pound price tag, but its worth the millions that you spend on this unique piece if you want to leave a style statement behind for others to follow. This iPhone is encrusted with 138 brilliantly cut diamonds of some of the best in the world.

And this piece is designed by Austrian jeweler Peter Aloisson who has a passion for this. And the most notable feature of this iPhone is the Kings Button or the home button which has a rare 6.6 carat diamond embedded on it. Just imagine the sparkle of the iPhone and get mesmerized.

Nokia N95 which was released on March 2007 is one of the highly efficient smart phones from Nokia (N-Series) which is popular for high end features and its special camera (5 Mpxl. with flash). It was another N-Series phone from Nokia but with all the features to make a complete luxury phone as well as a geek’s gadget. Nokia N95 is based on Series 60 3rd edition and is powered by Symbian OS v9.2. The mobile comes with all the features you would like – WI-Fi, High quality media player (Audio and Video players supporting a variety of file formats), Camera with Carl Zeiss lenses, GPS system with Nokia Maps application besides a quality display and a multitude of Applications and Games. This makes it one of the most sought mobiles competing with Iphone and other luxury class devices and we know how powerful is the Symbian OS, which lets you install some of the best software applications n games in the mobile on a fly.

Now recently Nokia unveiled a bit edited version of this N95 which is known as Nokia N95 8GB since it has been upgraded to an outstanding internal memory of 8GB and the slot MicroSD been removed. So you would have 8GB plus 160 MB of Internal flash memory in the Nokia N95 8GB. The display screen has been expanded to 2.8 inches, while the resolution remains same at 240 x 320 pixels resulting in a slight decrease in pixel density. Also the RAM size has been expanded to 128 MB with and the battery is upgraded to 1200mAh. Talk times have reportedly improved and 3G support has been added, which may not be available in every country. The camera’s looks are quite good now and there’s no shutter.

So these are the changes that are made to the normal N95 (launched in March,2007) and 3G supported N95s are available in select countries only as China and many other nations have a bit different version of the same Nokia N95 8GB. Let’s discuss the features you get in the N95 8GB including the features that were already present in the previous N95.

First of all the 8GB internal memory is completely available to store multimedia files like Audios, Videos, Music, Ringtones, Videos, Map data etc. as another 100 MB internal memory(dynamic) is there for storing common things like SMSes, to-do, notes and applications. Being a series 60 mobile, you’ll surely have applications and games of your choice like Prince of Persia installed in your N95 besides the multimedia content. With its flash enabled 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, you can capture MPEG-4 (.MP4 files) videos at VGA resolution (max frame rate – 30 FPS for 3.4 hours). You can also connect the mobile to your TV system and have the videos displayed (Note – cable for this is provided with the phone).

Support for Nokia Lifeblog and video/photo gallery makes it exciting. The photo and videos editing apps are also good. And considering the music – the inbuilt music player supports Mp3, AAC, WMA file formats and the stereo sound quality is much better than other Nokia mobiles. Other features include stereo FM, Wi-Fi, GPS with Maps, Bluetooth and most of features of the previous N95 has been preserved. Nokia N95 8GB may be considered as the smartest smart phone in the market with it’s all round computing capabilities unlike Iphone and Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which are too good for multimedia capabilities only.
