Its X-mas time and Sharp is on a sharper mission! If you’re in New York, go check out Sharp’s new Christmas tree at the Grand Central Station. A 26-foot X-mas tree made of 43 Aquos LCD televisions. Now that’s called a ‘sharp’ marketing strategy! In addition, passersby can sign up for a chance to win one of the TVs on the tree. Also, Sharp will donate one dollar per registered person to a program that trains people in environmental jobs. May this Christmas bring joy; Sharp has altogether opted for a different ploy.
